Very nice Mom & Pop diner. We have been here several times and the food is always good and the service is always sweet. But get here before 9:30 AM on Sundays; this place is very poplar with the breakfast after church crowd.

Ate here before, the food was mediocre but the service was good. We returned to try it again, and arrived we saw the cook on the side peeing in a bush then returned in the back door of the restaurant. Very unprofessional and how could we know if he washed his hands or not. Right when we saw that we turned around and went somewhere else.

Unfortunately I have to leave a less than average review.the service was good although the greeting upon entering was way less than enthusiastic. The food was just average at best. My husband's make your own omelet was good sized and tasty. The grits were old and "hadn't aged well" to put it nicely. My Belgium waffle was heavy enough to be a discus. The amount of eggs bacon and sausage that accompanied where skimpy for almost $8. The restaurant was not clean. I cannot tell you the last time the floor was mopped. The area that led to the restrooms was just plain gross with several safety violations. It appears the restaurant had been " milked" with nothing being reinvested. really prefer to patronize independent restaurants over corporate chains any day. But in today's world for an independent restaurant to survive, they must be willing to go above and beyond the corporate competition. Unfortunately, we won't return.

The service was friendly, the food was ok, but the prices made me feel like I should have gone to IHOP. I would have gotten much more choices and food for the price.

There are restaurants that make you wonder how they prepare such wonderful food with essentially the same ingredients you have at home. This is not one of those restaurants. This is the kind of diner that remind you it really isn't that hard to make your own cooked breakfast at home, and know what went into it. The place standard diner, and the service decent and friendly enough. But I should have known I was in trouble when I asked for poached eggs and was told they don't poached, they braise, which I was told consists of them frying the egg on the hotplate, tossing some water on it and covering it. Ok, we'll try that. It was average at best. As were the potatoes. But the notable thing was the sausages. Quite possibly the strangest mouth feel ever. I bit the sausage and it dissolved in my mouth. No chewing, it just dissolved. Like fatty ice cream. It was gone before I realized what happened, so I had a second piece. Dissolved again. The best description I can find is fat held together by sinew. Now I don't mind some fat in my sausages - that's flavor right there - but this was more like performing liposuction with a drinking straw. The search for a decent diner in PSL continues.

Excellent breakfast!!!!!!!! Biscuits and gravy are amazing!!! Very friendly and down to earth employees. Will definitely go back.
